Rachel Walter has more than 20 years of experience merging business needs and outcomes with learning and development solutions. She has a proven track record of designing and delivering innovative and influential learning programs that align with business goals and organizational strategies, creating change and enhancing people’s skills. While working with Hilti, she and her team won several prestigious awards, including an Innovation in Learning Award, a Learning Technologies Award, four Brandon Hall awards, and two APEX awards in the past six years. She is a recognized thought leader and contributor to the L&D community. She authored and contributed to several chapters in the book Leading the Learning Function, published by ATD, where she shared her insights and best practices on how to position learning as a core business function. She has also written numerous articles on learner engagement, learning analytics, performance support, and agile learning. She is a frequent speaker at various conferences, such as DevLearn, World of Learning, and ATD, where she showcases her innovative and practical solutions for enhancing learning and performance.

Senior Director of Learning Design, Arizona State University

Stuart Rice is the senior director of learning design on Arizona State University’s CareerCatalyst team, part of ASU’s Learning Enterprise. In that role, he is privileged to work with a talented team that designs, develops, and deploys career-relevant learning experiences. Stuart’s professional and research interests are in how learning can be emotionally engaging and intellectually challenging for adult learners and leveraging learning engineering principles and approaches. He has a master’s in adult learning and is pursuing a second master’s in human systems engineering.

M. Seamus Harreys, EdM, MBA

Chief Experience Officer, ansrsource

M. Seamus Harreys joined ansrsource in December of 2022. Before ansrsource, he was the senior vice president of global enrollment and chief revenue officer for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), the world’s largest nonprofit study abroad provider. Before CIEE, he was the vice president for business affairs for Northeastern University’s global expansion division. In that role, he oversaw the creation, business development, operation, financials, and market entry strategy for four regional US and international campuses as well as the global online/hybrid offerings strategy. He was a leader in expanding the university’s online credentials from 10 to more than 260. He was also an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern’s Graduate School of Education. He holds an MBA in global business from Northeastern University and a master’s in education from Harvard University. M. Seamus resides north of Boston in Rockport, Massachusetts.
